The Lennard-Jones potential model is used to investigate the effects of pressure on elastic and ultrasonic properties CaAuBi half-Heusler compound. Potential technique approaches evaluate second- third-order constants compound at various pressures (0-15 GPa). dependence studied it has been observed that increase monotonically as increased. hexagonal mechanically stable different according Born's stability criteria. Voigt-Reuss-Hill method was compute parameters such Young's modulus Y, shear G, bulk B, Poisson's ratio ν under pressures. For provided range, second-order were also utilized determine velocities along with z-axis angles. compound's hardness, attenuation, melting temperature, anisotropy are determined. computation have satisfactory in estimating thermal conductivity k (min) Debye average velocity varied pressure.
